Well, it's been a long time since I posted anything-- oops. We actually haven't gotten any new pictures ready to post yet. But boy oh boy Kate is growing up so fast! She's now clapping her hands a LOT! It's so cute! And she's jabbering to herself tons too. BUT she is NOT happy any time we put her on her tummy. Nope. She's not having any of this crawling nonsense. The other day at church she was playing with one of the babies that was born 3 weeks before her, and that baby, Alison, was crawling everywhere, pulling herself up on the chairs, etc. Kate just sat there and watched her. She has no interest in crawling. Hopefully she'll get the hang of it soon, but any time we put her on her stomach, she freaks out! It's funny, but a little frustrating. She loves to be standing up, and may just take off walking one of these days, bypassing the whole crawling phase altogether. Probably not, but it's a thought. Hard to believe she's 8 months old already! She is eating lots of different foods. In fact, she ate a few Cheerios the other day, along with some liquified chicken with applesauce. Yuuuum. I've said it before, these poor babies, eating this gross crap. I feel bad for them! The steak and baked potato days are coming, kids! I promise!
Kate's cousins are here this week! Mike's sis, Michelle, her hubby Steve and their kids Andrew and Trevor are here for Spring Break. It's fun to see her with her cute cousins! We will post pictures of our adventures later.
Meanwhile, Mike's 28th birthday is coming up in a few short days! We have lots of surprises in store for him... so stay tuned!
