I get the biggest kick out of watching Kate feed herself! Part of me- the control-freak part- wants to just do it for her! She slobbers all over the place and gets more on her lap than she does in her mouth. But I know it's up to her to learn how to do it. And Miss Kate is so independent, she has to do it on her own!
Kate dumped a whole thing of puffs out on the floor, and you can see she's rapidly scooping them up into her mouth before the dog gets them!

thank goodness for yogurt though! that is the only food that Abram has any remote success with getting from spoon to mouth. love the pictures of her and grandpa too. isn't it fun to see our dads playing with babies? (kind of makes you think about how he might have played with you when you were a baby). jessi
