Visit to Zion National Park

Part of Thanksgiving weekend was spent with eleventy-billion other people in Zion National Park. We went the day after Thanksgiving, when we thought most everyone would be at the shopping malls. We were wrong. We joined the herds of non-shoppers on the trails at Zion. It was a lot of fun, though. Mike and Leslie had never been, so we took them on our favorite Emerald Pools trail, and the trail up to the Narrows. It was beautiful, and so nice to get outside after stuffing ourselves with food the day before. The Gang! Kate, Mike, Karen, Derek, Lisa, Kevin & Leslie
Dad, Kate and Grandpa
The Sharp family! :)
Look at that beautiful fall day!
We even enjoyed a yummy picnic. It started to get really cold though, so we ended our day a bit early.

It's great to see everyone! So glad that everyone could be together. So sad that Brian isn't in the pics. How is he doing anyway? Jacob will have to send him a letter in Tagalog if Jacob can remember how. . .

Thanks for posting such beautiful pics of the mountains and canyons! We are soooo missing them right about now, or at least wishing we could get bundled up...or even wear a sweatshirt, it's just too hot.
