We ate at Five Guys, helped them move, and oh yeah, Kevin GRADUATED FROM LAW SCHOOL!

So the whole reason we went to Virginia was to see my dear brother, Kevin, receive his Juris Doctor from the law school at William and Mary. The other stuff we did (Busch Gardens, Jamestown, D.C.) was just bonus! As soon as Leslie's parents flew in for graduation, we all went to Kevin and Leslie's most favorite burger joint in the world, Five Guys. And yes, it was amazing! The next morning after the movers cleared out their stuff (they're now Dallas residents!) we helped Kev & Les clean their apartment. Moving sucks royally, but having the added stress of graduation, family in town, and a week of entertaining, we applaud Kevin and Leslie for their fabulous attitudes! The evening before the big day, we went to Yorktown where we picked up the most decadent carrot cake from this adorable restaurant, aptly named Carrot Tree. We enjoyed a lovely stroll along the boardwalk. And ate dinner at a scrumptious barbecue place!
Sunday was the big old commencement ceremony. And we woke up to a soggy, chilly, rainy mess. Unfortunately, the ceremony was to take place outside under a tent. So that's where we sat, with our feet in puddles (quite literally) to watch my brother walk across that stage.
Kate was not a huge fan of all the applause, and spent the entire hour and a half doing this:
YAY! He did it!! We are SO proud of you, Kevin!
We sought refuge after the ceremony at the law school, where we took pictures in one of the classrooms. Congratulations, Kevin. Now you're a real liar, I mean lawyer!
