Thanksgiving Feast

Just before Thanksgiving, I helped Kate's class with their big feast.  It is so fun for me to be in her classroom, getting to know her classmates and being a part of her experience in kindergarten.
Unfortunately, I was the ONLY parent there that day, so essentially I was a very busy waitress, serving food to 18 hungry children and one not-so-helpful substitute teacher (her actual teacher was out on maternity leave).
So I was really tired after the ordeal, but I wouldn't trade it!  It never fails to amaze me how quickly our Kate is growing up.  I love her!!

The menu:
Turkey, mashed potatoes with gravy, rolls, macaroni and cheese, green beans, carrots, cookies and juice boxes.
The kids made their own place mats and hats... so cute!
