Stockyards {A Fort Worth Must-See}

 While my parents were in town, we visited the Fort Worth Stockyards.  Gosh it was fun!

The petting zoo, the quaint shops (I bought a Texas-shaped cookie cutter), the delicious burger joint, and oh yeah, the cattle drive kept us entertained for hours.

And P.S.

The weather was perfect!

 This little goat (or kid or whatever you call it) had just been born two days earlier.  So cute!

 Waaaay too much attitude packed into one almost-six-year-old!

 We got Daddy a couple of pressed pennies-- something he's been collecting for years.

The children couldn't get enough of these little grocery-store-horse-rides.

Just another fun day of soaking up this area we live in.  Loving Texas life right now!
