Well folks, Kate has her daddy back. And I have my husband back. At least until January 11, 2010, when classes at UNLV start up again. But for now, we're enjoying family time, and lots of it!
Last week, after the last grueling final had been taken and the last ten-page-single-spaced-paper turned in, we went out for a celebratory dinner at one of our favorite Mexican restaurants, Lindo Michoacan. It was a lot of fun... but a tad frustrating because Kate didn't shut her yap the entire time! She had a lot to tell us, and boy did she spill! The entire meal was Kate yammering about something. So Mike and I didn't get a lot of conversing done, but it was fun hanging out as a family again!
For now we're excited to have my family come this weekend for a "pre-Christmas-Christmas" before they head off to Dallas for the holidays. We will be spending Christmas 2009 in Idaho with all of Mike's side of the family. It'll be SO fun to see everyone again!

we were with Lisa and Derek the other day! Sounds like your Pre-Christmas-Christmas is going to be a blast!
You should stop by and say hi on the way up or the way back from Idaho. I haven't seen you in ages. Let me know if that is something you can/want to do. Have a great Christmas.
There are definitely serious pros and cons to hubby being in school. Christmas break is definitely a huge plus!!!
