Kevin and Leslie invited us to the grand
Gaylord Texan Hotel for the annual Ice exhibit. A whole area of the hotel is kept at subzero temperatures all in the name of art. It was cool!
Here we are, bundled up in our heavy coats to wander through.

The theme this year is Charlie Brown. It's quite amazing what the artisans have done with ice and color.

Peeking through the ice wreaths. Yes, it was
coooold! But so beautiful.

Any similarities between Charlie and our Dylan?
Dylan's way cuter, I think!

Dylan kept getting lost in his huge parka.

The family pic!

And on the way out, we saw this beautiful Nativity, all carved out of ice. Amazing!

When we'd thawed, we walked around the gorgeous atrium at the hotel. Kind of brought back memories of wandering through the big hotels in
Las Vegas.

And finally, a little video of Kate sliding down the ice slides inside the exhibits. It was hilarious watching the kids being pushed down these slides. JUST like the scene on
A Christmas Story with Santa... "Ho, Ho, HO!"

I love the ICE Exhibit. The firm Paul works for took us there last year for Christmas. It was so fun. So neat that they could make all those things with just ice!
Glad you guys got to go!
So fun that you all got to go. We went last year with Kevin when we were in TX and it was so beautiful.
