Still Catching Up

Mischievous looks from my two guys; not a good sign at the beginning of a long flight...
I wanted to post the remaining pictures from our Thanksgiving trip to Idaho and Utah.  Like I've said before, it was a crazy visit, filled with lots of stress and sadness.  But we did manage to squeeze in some good times with our loving families.
Thanksgiving Day we drove from Cedar City to Idaho Falls to be with the family before Mike's parents flew to Germany.
Dylan modeled his new monkey hat, courtesy of Uncle Derek.
The whole family drove to Island Park to see the progress of the new Sharp Family Cabin!  We're so excited that this dream is becoming a reality for the family.  Can't wait to see the finished product.
It was cooooold.
Joint-at-the-hip-cousins Kate and Trevor, on the unfinished staircase.
Genius me... I didn't even get one shot of the actual exterior of the cabin.  Duh!  Anyway, the cabin is to the left of Mike and Dylan.  You'll just have to imagine it.
Driving back to Cedar City, we stopped in Brigham City to visit Grandma Wilma Petty.  The kids were being crazy and wouldn't pose for a picture with her.  This was the best we got.
Many a picture has been taken on this staircase.  I do believe there are some of my mom and her siblings when she was Kate's age.
We also stopped at Temple Square to take in the beautiful Christmas lights.
Kids weren't being cooperative posing for pictures, obviously. :)
Hard to blame them, with all the driving we did in just a few days.
Seriously considering placing the children in the overhead bins next time we fly.  See?  They fit!  CPS wouldn't have too much of a problem with that, right?
In all fairness, they hung in really well during such a busy and tragic time.  Like I mentioned, we were in Cedar City when we learned of Ryan's passing.  So they had to deal with two very sad and stressed out parents as we made plans to return to Idaho for the funeral.  All in all, our kids were great!
We sure do love them!
